
Biography
Mrs. Yuan Gao received the degree Bachelor of Music in String performance at the Eastman School where she had opportunities to study with numbers of acclaimed musicians and prestigious soloists, including Philip Ying, Alan Harris, Dr. Jean Barr.
During her time at Eastman School of Music and later in Bienen School of Music, she joined orchestra, constantly performing under the baton of Victor Yampolsky and Neil Varon.
Mrs Gao performed and toured extensively throughout Asia and the United States, giving recitals, chamber concerts in prominent venues. In 2017, Mrs. Gao was invited by the China Conservatory in Beijing as the soloist of National Composition Competition presenting and premiering multiple commissioned pieces.
After obtaining the Master degree in Music Performance at Northwestern University, she returned to China, focusing on the teaching of music.
